The musculoskeletal system affects every part of your body. And orthopedics is a specialized branch of medicine dedicated to it. Orthopedics in women is an even slimmer branch of specialization. We focus on features of women that make them more prone to certain orthopedic injuries and diseases, including hormonal, anatomical and biomechanical aspects. What are the common orthopedic issues among women? Well, they include ACL tears, arthritis, and osteoporosis fractures particularly of the wrist, spine, and hip.

The goal of our program is prevention, which can be aided through strength training and leaner body mass. Exercise not only helps prevent common orthopedic issues, it can also prevent or delay conditions like heart disease or diabetes.
