Pregnancy naturally opens up support from your spouse, family and friends, but it can also feel isolating at times. After all, no one can truly feel what you're feeling, except for other pregnant moms. That's why support groups are so important. Northland Women's Center offers support groups that guide moms through breast feeding, including breast feeding moms who are going back to work, as well as numerous other support groups.

Breast-Feeding Support Group
A free support group held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Mondays to provide information and reassurance for breast-feeding mothers. Lactation consultants are available to answer questions about breast-feeding, check baby's weight and conduct educational programs as requested.

The Back-to-Work group meets from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month.

Both groups meet in Lewis and Clark. For questions, call 816-691-1688.
